Kenelm and Andy helped us put together our tender document and it was a real pleasure working with them. They really know their stuff, they get involved and they offer sound advise and get solutions. Refurbishing a house can be extremely complicated and they made the initial process easy to understand and painless!

The Run Projects team took all the stress out of the building project and were a pleasure to work with. During the project I was on maternity leave with two small children and living off site, however I always felt involved with regular updates. When I wasn’t available I trusted them to make decisions on our behalf where necessary. Kenelm and Andy's qualifications as surveyors were invaluable and they were able to advise us on costs so there were no surprises. They were on-site every day so we always knew what stage we were at in the project and amazingly we moved in right on target. On the interiors element Kate's enthusiasm and creativity was a breath of fresh air. She really listened to the vision we wanted and came up with a great colour scheme and affordable accessories for finishing touches. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

We had been talking about converting our loft for a while but hadn’t managed to make much progress. Andy has helped us get everything we wanted from the builder and to resolve a couple of issues that arose on site. I would highly recommend Andy as he made the process very simple and smooth for us, and has been a pleasure to work with.

From the first meeting we felt that we were in safe hands with Kenelm. He was extremely helpful and always gave clear and honest advice, which was really helpful and reassuring. We are really pleased with how our development went and wouldn't hesitate in recommending Kenelm as a Project Manager.

Being based in Cheshire meant that we really needed a project manager to run the refurbishment project of our flat in London. Kenelm oversaw the whole project, kept us regularly updated on progress and was always available when we needed him. As a result the project went very smoothly and efficiently and we are very happy with the results.

We had the pleasure of working closely with Kenelm and Andy over a 10-month period on our extension project. We engaged them as soon as the house purchase was complete and they managed the end to end process of getting the relevant planning permissions, introduced and arranged for the architect, structural engineer, party wall surveyor, building control officer etc. and most importantly, managed a detailed tender process to pick a builder, who was excellent. They also project managed the build and provided us with relevant inputs, good advice and timely updates, which were really helpful and our project was completed within contractual timelines and agreed budgets. Both Andy and Kenelm are extremely professional, knowledgeable and kept us fully abreast of progress and any challenges along the way. Above all, they helped us to stay sane and relatively stress free throughout a long building project - especially with two full-time busy careers, an active young child and another one on the way and born unexpectedly early, midway through the build. We really couldn't have pulled off such a project without them.

Andy made the process of refurbishing our flat incredibly easy, selecting a good builder, negotiating the costs and managing the works for us. Following the refurbishment works our flat sold straight away which was great.

Working with Run Projects has been very helpful. As an expatriate, I didn't know much about the legal aspect of works in the UK, the long process of authorisations, planning control, building controller, party wall notice and so on... Run Projects made it smooth and easy. The team doesn't count hours, goes on site as often as I needed and met me each time as needed. Last but not least, Run Projects offered precious help when I had any issue with neighbours: solving problems, avoiding arguments and any potential tense relationships in the future. Works can often be a source of conflict, especially with terraced properties and I had some very good mediators.

Overall I’ve been really pleased with what Andy and Kenelm have done (they’ve also been really good at handing over when Andy has been away, so we weren’t waiting for him to return to keep things moving) and it has suited us really well as I don’t think we’d have had enough time to manage the whole thing properly ourselves. It’s made a real difference to be able to sketch out ideas and have Andy go away and work out the details to make it happen, and to have him managing the builders on a day to day basis. He’s also been really accommodating around our schedules for meeting up and going through things which has been a big help too.

We recently completed a new loft, rear/side extension and full house renovation and I can honestly say that having Andy ‘on our side’ made life so much easier. He is wise, trustworthy, punctual, a good listener and responsive to all forms of communication. The most helpful points were the clear/concise tender pack, understanding the expenses before starting the build, having experienced eyes/ears on site and Andy’s timelines to ensure the build went smoothly and the puzzle pieces of different contractors fell into place. I know very few builds that finish on budget and before schedule. Absolutely worth it!
